Everyone from Beginners to Further Weapon Stage Combatants. No matter what experience you have, everyone is welcome to get fighty with us! 
 
WHO IS THE TEACHER?
Our BADC Instructor is Rc-Annie Associate, Claire Llewellyn. Claire is a Fight and Intimacy Director whose work has been seen at Royal Shakespeare Company, Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Criterion Theatre West End, Liverpool Everyman, Orange Tree Theatre, Leeds Playhouse, National Theatre Wales and Bristol Old Vic. She is an accredited BADC Teacher, Examiner and Master at Arms with over 16 years of experience, delivering training at CTTC, LAMDA, RADA, Mountview, GSA, RCSSD and Buckinghamshire New University.
 
WHAT IS IT
A four day course (10am to 6pm) including final day exam in BADC Standard or a Further Weapon Single weapon in Smallsword.

Sword fighting with the Smallsword 
Explore Angelo's historical techniques 
Understanding distance and safety techniques with a blade
Learn international terminology
Understand the sword choreography process
Creating a dramatic sword fighting scene
Learn how to rehearse a fight
Experience the thrill of a beautiful fight
Learn universal footwork
Apply a safe order of attack
All weaponry will be provided by the Rc-Annie armoury

EXAM FEE (optional): £20 per person. To be paid on weekend. 
OUTCOME: Training in Smallsword, with the option to take exam in BADC Single Weapon. Certification available as Standard (Level 1) or Further Weapons (for advanced combatants). You must hold a valid BADC Standard to go for Further Weapons level.
BADC qualifications are valid for 4 years.
